The Park Community Church

welcome.

However you found your way to our site, we’re glad that you’re here. We appreciate the opportunity to let you know more about us.

The Park Community Church is a non-denominational church that currently meets at Oak Meadow Elementary School in north-central San Antonio. Oak Meadow is just a building where we meet on Sundays… the church is people, not programs or buildings. We are a community that believes that faith is personal, not private, and this is lived out in our worship service on the weekend and in community groups during the week.

We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have. Come by Oak Meadow for our service Sunday morning at 10 am. Introduce yourself to someone and ask them what The Park means to them. We’d love to hear your story and to share our story with you.

What to Expect

  • All are welcome at The Park. We meet in the cafetorium of an elementary school. We dress casual, but feel free to put on a tie if it makes you feel comfortable. Our church service runs for around one hour. We incorporate a mix of contemporary music, relevant teaching, story, scripture reading and prayer.
  • Family Ministries – Our Sunday morning Family Ministry environments are designed for kids 3 months through 5th grade. They are a safe, fun, experiential place for kids to learn more about God. Look for our FM check in table in the lobby. We will greet you, guide you through the registration process, and personally escort you to your child’s classroom.

Starting Point

Starting Point is a two part process

  • Starting Point Events that take place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We created starting point to connect with new people, answer questions about The Park, and share vision. If you are new to The Park, or if you have been around for months and want to learn more, join us directly after the service for Starting Point.
  • Starting Point Online is a part of our site where you can go to learn more about us, our core values, core beliefs, and to hopefully have your questions answered.
