{Family Ministry} at The Park exists to partner with parents to have a greater spiritual impact on kids’ lives. Through our Sunday morning FM environments, events, and resources we hope to help you, as parents, win at home!
{Engaging Activities} shortly after kids walk in the door, they participate in a fun activity that is designed to grab their attention and introduce the key truth.
{Bible Story and Worship Time} Each week we teach a new Bible story. We use props and characters from the story to help make the Bible come to life. During our song time- we give kids time to sing (LOUD) and joyfully express to God how much we love Him.
{Small Groups} After our Bible story, kids break in to small groups to do an activity and talk about what they’ve learned that day. We want kids to see how the Bible fits into their lives, learn how to talk to Him and build great friendships with others.
Our FM volunteers are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching God’s word. Get to know them and see for yourself what special people they are to kids and our ministry! Each FM volunteer is trained for the class and role they have as well as background checked.
We use First Look and 252 Basics, web-based curriculums for Preschool and K-5th graders.
Every week there is a key truth or bottom line that we focus on. It’s what we hope will “stick” with kids from their time with us on Sundays.
