Some of our core values we have shared for years, others have been discovered on our journey as a church community. These values are an expression of the faith community we call The Park.

• {Sola Scriptura} “By Scripture Alone.” We value the Bible and believe it contains all knowledge necessary for salvation and holiness. The majority of our teaching is expository in nature. Practically this means we will be walking through books of the bible, verse by verse, allowing them to examine us as we study together.
• {Story} The Bible is a collection of stories. These stories tell of a perfect God and his pursuit of an imperfect people. This pursuit is never ending. He is still interacting with His people so continue to tell the stories of what God is doing.
• {Community} Faith is personal it is not private. God works in us as we do life with others.
• {Simplicity} We are not impressive. Our goal in worship is not to put on a show. The only thing impressive at The Park is the Word of God. So we aren’t going to melt your face with pyrotechnics and a wall of sound.
• {Priesthood of all believers} We recognize the individual calling of all followers of Christ. Our prayer is for each of us to maximize our influence within the community to communicate the gospel.
• {Equipping Parents} Parents are the most important influence in a child’s life. We hope to equip and encourage parents to raise their children to be Christ followers.
• {Servant Leadership} The simplest way to communicate the Gospel is to wash another’s feet.
